Political Silence During the last week the UX index has risen 3.54% up to 1797.63 points with total volume of UAH 209.0 million (+16.11% over the week). American S&P 500 for the week has fallen by 0.42% to 1104.49, European ESTX 50 (DJ Euro Stoxx 50) lost 2.32%, Asian S&P Asia 50 increased by 0.41%, while Nikkei remained virtually unchanged (+0.02%), Shanghai Composite after weekly idling added 1.12%. Russian MMVB has thrown down 1.98% to 1328.16 points. The events around Greece remain the central event in the foreign exchange market. The country has postponed Eurobond issue for this week (exact dates are not specified yet), expecting to place them under the yield in the range up to 7%. Carrying back, the government is talking about issuing bonds with a total value of EUR 5 billion. Anticipation of the New Power Index of UX has ended previous week with growth of 4.67% reaching its historical maximum of 1736.12 points, with total trade volume of UAH 180 mln. Simultaneously, American S&P increased by 3.13%, All-European DJ Euro Stoxx 50 increased 4.45%, Asian S&P Asia 50 dropped in 0.88%, and at the same time Japanese Nikkei increased by 0.31%, while Chinese Shanghai Composite didn’t trade last week. >>>  Download 820 Kb

World risks against “Ukrainian optimism” UX index practically unchanged last week (-0.05%) and have stayed at 1658.68, volume was $15.7 ml (-29.8% w/w). American index S&P 500 grew by 0.87% to 1075.51, Pan-European index DJ Euro Stoxx 50 added 1.63%, Asiatic index S&P Asia 50 increased by 2.93%, at that Nikkei +0.35%, Shanghai Composite +2.68%. UX defends its levels World market’s sentiment was very poor last week – US S&P 500 lost 0.79% reaching 1066.19 points, pan European DJ Euro Stoxx 50 slid down 5.23%, S&P Asia 50 dropped 2.81%, Japanese Nikkei - 1.38%, Shanghai Composite – 1.67%.
